Inspiration Nature

I found laying around on a dusty digital file, some old nature photographs I had taken light years ago. Decidedly these merited some attention, so I dusted off the cobwebs and brought these ole things back to life with new reflection on color, texture, and the natural enter-weaving that can easily transcend into design inspiration.

Photographs shot with a pretty banged up Canon.

I really love this tree growing round and through the rock.

Great color scheme here, a great color story.
Clearly, or not so clearly I forever wish for a better camera.

Wonderful weaving elements, and color.
I love the mood of this photo, as well as the deep colors.

I think this one would be great for a color story with a accent color of red!

very graphic "like" and makes me think of textile prints.

This is a rather rare flower called a Lady Slipper.

Here is a Lady slipper in bloom from, http://flowerinfo.org/lady-slipper-flower
The rare Lady slipper flower is actually protected by law from being picked, and through this law has survived through all these decades. This flower is tied to many folklore stories and is state blossom of Minnesota. The colors vary from violet, pink, yellow, and other shades and tint of these colors.  The veins in the flower are just beautiful and inspiring! So this concludes my discovery of some old photos, and a great exploration of going through old photograph files!
